Releasing “Turn It Off” feels like taking a deep breath – and finally exhaling. Alongside Born To Shine, this song marks a different side of my journey: lighter, freer, and unapologetically alive. I’m incredibly happy to share it, because this track was born out of a very real need for space, silence, and movement again.
“Turn It Off” came from a place of overload. Too many emails, meetings, messages, notifications. Too much screen time – at work and in private life. Days filled with digital noise, while the actual world quietly passed by outside the frame. At some point, I realized how exhausting it had become to always be available, always connected, and yet somehow disconnected from myself.
The song is a statement – a small rebellion against constant scrolling and endless feeds. It’s about choosing to turn off the devices for a moment and turning back toward real life instead. Toward friends, music, laughter, movement. Toward moments that don’t need to be posted to be meaningful.
The spark for this track came from an unplanned weekend with friends – no schedules, no pressure, no constant checking of phones. Just dancing, talking, being present. That weekend reminded me how light life can feel when you step away from the noise, even just for a little while. “Turn It Off” carries that feeling: euphoric, free, and made to move to.
Releasing this song alongside Born To Shine feels right. Both come from very different emotional spaces, yet they belong together – one about reclaiming inner strength, the other about reclaiming joy and presence. I’m proud of both, and grateful to share them at the same time.
